The Original GolfCross©-Ball
The Game at a Glance
GolfCross - not Crossgolf - goal-golfing or goalf is a golf variation with goals instead of holes and it’s played with an oval ball instead of a round one. You use the same rules as golf (with a few exceptions and additions) and the same clubs - though you won’t need your putter on a GolfCross course. Essentially you’re still playing golf, it’s simply that the target is now suspended in mid-air and every shot is pretty much going where you want it to.
Since the initial intention was to combine New Zealand national sports golf and rugby it is also sometimes called rugby golf or golfing New Zealand style.
However, many golf players just use the oval golf ball to improve their putting.
